Sugar Rush • September 2020 - August 2021 • Belfast, Northern Ireland
At Sugar Rush, I was part of the design team where I further developed my design skills working on a range of mobile applications and websites for a diverse range of clients. I have knowledge in creating user friendly solutions for clients across the healthcare, security and transport industries.
I have experience of working as part of a busy team, improving both my communication and collaboration skills. I was able to work on my own initiative which has improved time and project management skills.
I have gained experience and strengthened my skill level using different software such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator & Photoshop.
I have been responsible for creating medium fidelity wireframes and high fidelity designs for a range of projects using both Sketch and Figma.
I have consulted with clients and talked through designs, at both the wireframe and design stages for their applications, before being signed off. I have also worked with clients to implement any feedback/changes they had to ensure their vision was carried through into the designs.
I have worked both remotely and in the studio, which has helped me further improve my communication and time management skills.

During my four years at IXD Belfast, I have developed a number of skills to help me complete a range of projects. From the early ideation stages to high fidelity prototyping, I am able to create a brief at the beginning of the project and continue to work on it throughout the timeframe until it is completed, making necessary adjustments to ensure the deadline is met. Throughout the process, I ensure that I cover a range of UX and UI design tasks and continuously further my personal and professional development by identifying areas where I can improve my skill set. I ensure I keep full records of all stages of my work which clearly show the processes, research and designs I have implemented.
